Candidate Guidance & Designation Promotion Committee
Supports individuals pursuing the CCIM Designation by providing information on candidacy procedures and guiding them through each step of the process. The committee assists with portfolios before submission deadlines, offers follow-up assistance, and connects candidates with mentors such as recent Designees, and The CCIM Institute staff.
Education Committee
Responsible for planning and delivering high-quality educational opportunities for chapter members. This includes organizing core courses, workshops, and training sessions that support the CCIM Designation process, as well as identifying topics and instructors that meet the professional development needs of the commercial real estate community. The committee ensures programs are timely, relevant, and aligned with CCIM Institute standards, while also exploring innovative ways to enhance learning and engagement.
Membership Committee
Focuses on growing and maintaining an active chapter by identifying and recruiting prospective members and promoting the benefits of The CCIM Institute and the CCIM Designation. The committee also develops strategies to keep members engaged, oversees retention efforts, and manages the chapter’s roster of active members.
Programs Committee
Responsible for planning and delivering high-quality chapter programs by recruiting knowledgeable speakers and mediators, setting policies on expenses and honorariums, and ensuring timely completion of program details. It also determines suitable meeting venues and strives to keep programs innovative and aligned with members’ interests.
Scholarship Committee
Responsible for promoting professional development by managing the chapter’s scholarship program. Its work includes establishing eligibility criteria, reviewing applications, selecting recipients, and ensuring that awards support education and training aligned with the CCIM designation. The committee also fosters awareness of scholarship opportunities within the commercial real estate community to encourage participation and growth.
Sponsorship Committee
Responsible for securing and managing sponsorships to support chapter events and initiatives. This includes recruiting sponsors, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring timely communication and fulfillment of sponsorship benefits. The committee develops strategies, explores creative sponsorship models, and emphasizes value through audience reach, brand visibility, and networking opportunities. It also oversees financial transparency, tracks transactions, and leverages past presidents and board connections to strengthen partnerships.
Technology & Marketing Committee
Responsible for promoting the chapter and its activities through effective marketing strategies and leveraging technology to enhance communication and engagement. This includes overseeing the chapter’s website, social media platforms, and digital tools, creating promotional materials for events, and ensuring consistent branding. The committee also explores innovative technologies to improve member experience and supports outreach efforts to increase visibility within the commercial real estate community.
